Michael Smith, CEO of Mind Candy and founder of Firebox.com, the UK’s
leading online retailer, demonstrated the new Kymera Wand at this year’s WPP
conference, Stream 09. Over 200 of the brightest people from the creative,
media and technology industries who attended Stream 09 to debate ideas and
opportunities in the areas of culture, innovation and the internet, sat in
amazement as Smith controlled his presentation using the Kymera Wand, moving
between slides and scrolling up and down menus on stage, just with deft
flicks of his wand.
“When I came off stage, I was mobbed by people wanting to learn more.” Smith
told us. “A chap from a huge multinational company wanted to buy 200 there
and then, for a big event they are putting on in the next few months.” He
added afterwards.
